The company Colchões Bom Repouso – Cooperativa Operária de Fabrico de Colchões, C.R.L., started its activity about 30 years ago, but the knowledge in mattress manufacturing dates back three generations.
Always attentive to market developments and the emergence of new manufacturing techniques, COLCHÕES BOM REPOUSO was one of the pioneering companies in the manufacture and sale of spring mattresses. Later, polyurethane foam mattresses appeared.
It joined Sociedade Ponto Verde and has a manufacturing line for agglomerated polyurethane foam, which recycles the pieces resulting from foam cuts.
It exports to Portuguese-speaking countries and covers the entire Central and Southern region of Portugal.
In the future, new investments are foreseen, namely across borders, as well as the expansion of its external market.
